EuroBioBank

EuroBioBank is a unique network of biobanks that stores and distributes quality DNA, cell and tissue samples for scientists conducting research on rare diseases, including neuromuscular disorders. Approximately 440.000 samples are available across the network.

EuroBioBank acts as a clearing house or "virtual" bank, with all samples listed in the central online catalogue remaining in the possession of the member biobanks, where they are located and can be requested.

Originally set up under the impetus of two patient organisations: EURORDIS & AFM, EuroBioBank puts rare disease patients at the center of its activities.
